Dr. Scott Greening – Orthodontist

Dr. Greening is a graduate of The University of Detroit School of Dentistry in Detroit Michigan.  He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio before joining the United States Air Force.

For the next 29 years Dr. Greening was stationed all over the world including duty to Greenland and Saudi Arabia before attending Orthodontic Specialty training in San Antonio TX.

Dr. Greening has lived off and on in the Colorado Springs area since 1997 and likes to consider himself a Colorado Native and calls this home.

He has three daughters and resides in the Northern Colorado Springs area.  He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoor life that Colorado has to offer going skiing, and hiking.

 

Dr. Adiha Khan – Dentist

Dr. Adiha Khan is the youngest of a “dental trifecta”, that is, the youngest amongst her and her dentist siblings. She has had the opportunity to have 2 older siblings, who are dentists, both serving to introduce her to the field.  She grew up playing with dental materials as a kid and listening to conversations about root canals and zirconia crowns at the dinner table.  Because of this, the field of dentistry has always felt like “home.”  Her strong connection to dentistry was an influential factor in her decision to pursue a dental education, so she decided to attend the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated from there 2017.  She spent time in school focusing on her passion for surgery by completing an intensive research fellowship with Dr. George Huang during her dental school career that focused on odontoblastic/osteoblastic differentiation of stem cells and use of stem cells in a FDA-approved bone grafting material.  The experience afforded her a well-rounded breadth of scientific knowledge, keeping her up to date with the best practices and techniques in dentistry during surgical extractions and other surgically-focused procedures.

Experiencing the field throughout her dental career, she has had the opportunity to practice the full gamut of general dentistry. Through her work, she has gained proficiency in general practice, and she particularly enjoys building a strong dentist-patient relationship. She has a compassionate approach to her care which has caused her to stay connected to her patient friends all the way from dental school. She sincerely hopes you too will find your “dental home” here with her and the team at South Springs Dental Group.

Dr. Khan enjoys many other things besides dentistry, including creative writing, meditating, swimming with dolphins, dragging her husband and family with her on crazy adventures, and making music.
